April Bennett’s first local film project was as the Teacher in Folklore and Frost: Sylvan Beach for WPBS.
She has had numerous roles with Little Theatre of Watertown including: Hot Lips Houlihan in MASH, Glory in Her Heart – Lovesick (award), Sarah in Uh-Oh – Lovesick (award), and Blanche in A Streetcar Named Desire (Theatre Association of NY State’s Outstanding Achievement in Acting).
She has also appeared as Grace, the Maid of Honor, for Murder & Mayhem Wedding and Lisa, the Trophy Wife, in Death at the Disco, both for The Butler Did It Players interactive murder mystery shows.
April is a graduate of the BFA Acting program at SUNY Fredonia. She was also a member of the Bless the Mark Players professional acting troupe at the Sterling Renaissance Festival and has appeared on television in episodes of Chopped and Emeril Green.
